Please remember that everything donated by this method goes directly to Macmillan so make sure that team entry fees are sent separately to Peter's Mac 4x4 account as they are used to pay for the running costs of the event.

Setting up a Justgiving.co.uk page for your team.

Just giving is a quick and effective method for your sponsors to donate to your team's entry.

1. Go to www.justgiving.co.uk
2. Click on 'create a fund raising page'
3. Click on 'create your page'
4. Select 'sporting' then 'other sporting events'
5. Put in the date of the event.
6. Under 'can't find your event' type 'Macmillan 4x4 UK Challenge' and select 'No' to it being an overseas event
7. Then in the charity search select Macmillan

You will then be driven by the menus to set up your account and page, when you create your page you will get the opportunity to have a team picture so have one handy on your PC, and when choosing a page name I recommend keeping it simple so you can remember it when you are down the pub.

When you are e-mailing all your friends asking for donations copy Peter on the mail so he can see you are collecting via justgiving.co.uk.

Then just before you head off to Hereford print your page and bring it along so that your total can be added to the grand total at the prize giving dinner.

Note: The justgiving page stops taking donations on the day of the event. Any outstanding contributions after that will need to be collected the old fashioned way
